Flights on the route Moscow - Helsinki - Moscow will be operated twice a week, on Thursdays and Saturdays.

The company noted that when planning a trip, it is important to take into account visa rules and current restrictions in the host country.

In addition to Finland, Russia will resume flights with Vietnam, India and Qatar on January 27.


The decision was made on the basis of previously defined criteria: the number of new cases of COVID-19 in the country within 14 days should not exceed 40 per 100 thousand population, the daily increase in incidence over the same period should not exceed one percent.

Russia, amid the coronavirus pandemic, has suspended international passenger flights since March 27. An exception was made only for export, postal, sanitary and some other flights. Since August, flights have begun to gradually recover. It is now allowed to fly to Turkey, Tanzania, Switzerland, Egypt, UAE, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Serbia, South Korea, Japan, Cuba, Ethiopia, the Seychelles and some other countries.
