Cyprus reopens its borders and is ready to welcome travelers from different countries. And this spring you can again visit your favorite island.

Having successfully dealt with the COVID-19 epidemic, the country's government approved a plan to resume flights, which will take effect on March 1, 2021.

To get to the island safely, you need to get a Cyprus flight pass.

Also, it is important to inform that from February 1, a classification of countries will be introduced, for whose citizens different restrictions will apply when entering Cyprus. The distribution of countries is carried out in accordance with the epidemiological situation, with each category having its own list of mandatory rules for entering the island.

The green category includes all EU countries. Passengers from this category can fly to the airports of Limassol and Paphos without restrictions.

Orange category. It includes the countries of the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Tourists will be required to provide a negative PCR test result within 72 hours of travel prior to boarding an aircraft in Cyprus.

The red category includes Ukraine, Israel, Lebanon, UAE, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Belarus and Russia. Passengers from these countries will require two PCR tests. One must be done 72 hours before the flight, the other at the arrival airport.

All other countries were assigned to the gray category. From these countries it will be possible to fly only to those who have a residence permit or citizenship of Cyprus, their relatives. Passengers from this category will have to go into self-isolation for 14 days after arriving in the country.

The country categorization will be updated weekly by the Ministry of Health.

There is an exception to all requirements: passengers who will be vaccinated against COVID-19 are exempt from testing before and after arrival at the airports in Cyprus.
